Trauma is a distressing event in which a person feels threatened emotionally, psychologically, or physically. Most people will experience a traumatic event at some point in their lives, and while many recover from the event with support, others experience longer-lasting effects. These effects may leave you feeling deep emotional pain, fear, and confusion long after the event has passed. I can assist in the healing of your trauma experience.

EMDR is a short-term, integrative, highly effective, and well-researched approach to therapy. It aims eliminating the symptoms such as flashbacks, anxiety, addictions, marital distress, intrusive thoughts, disturbing memories, pain, depression, irritability, distorted thoughts/images that can typically result from having experienced trauma.
